In being called to international ministry, I am both blessed and challenged.
I’m blessed because I get to be a blessing to people all over the world, leading thousands to salvation, Holy Spirit baptism, and teaching them things of the Kingdom of God that impacts their life in many positive ways. I’m also blessed to be used by God in helping to heal people.
I am challenged, however, because I do so without compensation from most of the churches I minister at. This requires me to live by faith, trusting the Lord to touch the hearts of people, not only in helping me when it’s time to take ministry trips, but also for my day-to-day living.
The apostle Paul faced the same challenge in his call to minister internationally. In part, it was this challenge that inspired him to write,
“Do you not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? And they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? In the same way, the Lord has ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.”
(1 Corinthians 9:13-14)
It would be impossible for me to accept invitations to minister in countries throughout the world (and stay sometimes as long as a month), without people supporting those trips, and supporting me on a monthly basis.
A part of my helping people in countries that are economically challenged includes me sending monthly donations to pastors and their churches. I’ve learned that it is impossible to be the most effective in ministry without people coming alongside of us and helping us financially.
If you would consider donating to KSBMI on a monthly basis, it would enable me to be free to focus on “Taking the Word, Teaching the World”, writing books that are a blessing to people, and helping pastors and people in other places.
